About
I'm Kat Peterson - a graphic designer, problem-solver, and collector of fonts.*
I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in May of 2023, receiving highest honors for academic success. My educational journey provided me with many opportunities to learn and apply a broad range of skills within the realm of graphic design - areas of particular focus include branding identity design, logo development and application, web design, and typographic layout principles. While the majority of my courses utilized software within the Adobe Creative Suite, I have spent time outside of class learning to use programs like Figma, and practicing fundamental HTML and CSS concepts, in order to better apply myself as a designer.
I am passionate about my work, and always strive to produce compositions that exceed the expectations of the client. Outside of graphic design, my other passions lie in environmental sustainability, exploration, and creative expression through movement. I am currently pursuing an aerial fitness and circus arts journey, and spend a lot of my free time in the air on a steel aerial hoop, learning to master various tricks and movements taught by professional circus artists.
